Jelly Care Package

This care package was pretty easy to do as the one thing my Husband loves is jellies.

I decided to treat him by collecting his favourite jellies and sending him a care package filled with different varietys.

I bought all the large bags at Euro Giant and Dealz so most bags were like €1.50

To decorate the inside of the box I used pritt stick to glue some funny wrapping paper as I really hate how boring the boxes are when opened it makes it a little more interesting. I cut the paper in sections as its easier to glue that way !

Peter Rabbit by Beatrix Potter – The Library ðŸ“–

Who loved watching Peter Rabbit as a child ? Well I did and loved being read to at night before bedtime . The weekend I was in Athlone on  a weekend away and popped into the local shopping centre for a browse and came across the complete collection of books by Beatrix Potter.

Even though we don’t have children yet, I said to my Husband wouldn’t it be great when we finally start a family of our own that we have these to read.

I grew up in a era where mobile phones and tablets didn’t exist. My childhood was playing outdoors until it got dark, reading and watching classic movies. When I become a mother I want that to be the same foundation for my future children to grow up in for them to be children for as long as I have the power to allow them to be.

It contains 10books and is in a beautiful display box to keep them nice and organised. They were €40 reduced to €20 in The Works shop.

They would make a great gift to a child, new parents or for the big kids in us all 📖

My perfume love â™¡

This year I got this perfume as a 30th birthday present from my Husband in February.

And I just love it. Its not too sweet or too musky it’s quite light and the bottle is gorgeous for those who like to collect perfume bottles.

I picked up the small gold purse size in a set of 3 for €75 in boots.

Houmous with Harrisa

While visiting my friend in London back in October. I ate in a Lebenese restaurant called Shava and was served the most amazing sauce with my dish. I asked the waitress what it was and she ended up giving me a few tubs to take home, which I brought back to Sara we both were amazed at the flavour and taste of the sauce she’s now addicted too 😛

I have since been searching at home for Harrisa and came across this in Dunnes Stores recently it’s amazing by the way!

They also do the Harrisa Paste in their Deli section which I added to Vegan Burgers I made recently and it was divine.

I use organic carrots and celery with it. Or you can use nachos or add it as a side with salad or dinner

Packing for 4days in London

I’m off to London to visit my long term school friend Sara which I cannot wait to see her. I’ve decided to post on how to travel light.

I booked a flight via Ryanair & got return flights from Dublin to London (Stansted) for €63. You get a free carry on case + your handbag which is great for that price so  with that in mind I wanna pack light.

                          Luggage

I always use my  It luggage suitcase in the carry on  version it’s light & flexible  because it doesn’t have boning  in the case, you can squeeze so  much in that you wouldn’t fit in a hard case.

                       Toiletries

Travel size Toiletries Lidl do amazing travel size Toiletries for like under a €1 they are so handy and travel safe.

Don’t forget to make a list it helps!

First of I  do out a list of what I will bring it helps stop over packing items you won’t even use and you can plan your outfit.

            Carry on Bag + Handbag

I  usually bring a bagpack for the plane as I find its awkward trying to grip a handbag while wheeling a suitcase. I  pack a small over the shoulder bag which fits into the backpack too.

Footwear – comfy yet trendy !

A pair of comfortable runners for all the walking. I  brought my grey Nikey’s as they are dressy yet comfy.
I also  brought my new look ankle boot heel its a block heel and low so when walking about they don’t kill your vibe.

           Jeans – Casual + Dressy

High waisted indigo and a blue wash.

I  always think indigo jeans are dressy and blue wash a bit more casual I  always wear high waisted as with my height they suit my shape better.

              Winter Coat + Scarve

This black & rose gold detail jacket is dressy yet warm with a de-tachable hood  so  it’s handy to change it up whatever the weather.
                       Warm scarf

This Scarve can double up as a shawl if you don’t want to wear it with a heavy coat you can wear  it over a jumper.
